Term 2 Week 2 Chess

Yesterday we learnt how to play chess although some of us knew how to play so that made it super duper easier for me to learn. Our Class and the rest of the senior classes plus Room 5.  Our coach that taught us was Ash his company was chess power. Here was a story that he taught us while we were sitting down listen up it may be hilarious. Long Long years ago, the game chess was first originated in India. Long Long Long years ago, like in the 6th century there was a king and he lived in India and he had a thought and he said to himself I don't want to go fight in war so he called his royal servants and he had an idea his idea was to ask his royal servants to make him a game so the king won't go anywhere he will just let his soldiers fight. Also he even didn't want him to be bothered by anyone. 

Here are the chess pieces that Ash showed us.
The first person you place on is the king and then it is the queen do you know something very unusual the queen is the most powerful one in the chess game but you know what the king has no ability to do anything he can't even go diangle he can't do anything the only thing he can do is only move one square.Also the rest of the players you will see in the photos. I mean the chess pieces. Here are some pictures of us in the hall.
