Week 1 Gymnastics

Kia Ora, Today was an awesome day. We had our first gymnastics session. We had Kane and Ashley  the Tri Star Coaches  Ashley and Kane helped us learn the position.  So here are some of the skills that we learnt: tuck shape, landing position, L shape, front support,  rear support and straddle position.  They are all the position's that we know by now. Now I know what you are thinking . What do tuck shape, front support, landing position, and straddle have in common? What does all these position have to be related to  gymnastics?  Well I am here to talk about it.  So our lesson was about statics and balancing. Statics mean still and balanced means that you can stand on one feet and wait until 5 or 10 seconds. Here are some of the  photos of us having fun and rocking out in the hall.
